While Princess Diana on the cover of Vanity Fair English, new discoveries are revealed about one of these relationships.
In a Vanity Fair article entitled The Grandmother Never Knew Prince George, Jemima Khan, an old friend of the Princess made a startling confession about his late friend. According to the wife of cricketer Imran Khan, Diana was "so crazy in love" with a heart surgeon Hasnat Khan, whom she had planned to leave the UK for him.
At a fundraiser in Lahore, the Princess had asked advice from his friend, "she wanted to know how I adapted myself to life in Pakistan". In fact, Diana was apparently desperately eager to impress the Hasnat family, especially his mother. But despite all his efforts, it seems that once again the Princess of Wales has fallen to a very influential family.
