Charlize Theron is in talks to appear in the new film directed and co-written by Seth MacFarlane.
With the success of "Ted," the director should stage comedy "Million Ways to Die."
Inspired by western movies, the film is the story of a shy farmer dumped by his girlfriend. It will appeal to the wife of an outlaw to learn to become famous as one of the trigger, before falling in love, in its greatest peril.
Filming is expected to begin in May.
