Mischa Barton has split from her boyfriend Sebastian Knapp.
The couple, whose romance began in June 2012, have ended their relationship a few months ago.
"It was amicable. It focuses on a project to produce a new film," said a source.
The actress, who was revealed by interpreting Marissa Cooper in Newport Beach, recently admitted she would be reluctant to take part in a meeting of the series. She has previously said to be happy not to be omnipresent on the tabloids, describing the height of his fame as "well above".
